Massera genocidal

He died one of the symbols of the dictatorship and impunity: Emilio Eduardo Massera. He lived with impunity, but damned forever by the Argentine people and the world.



This news caused us different feelings, because it tastes bitter impunity. Had not been the same if he had died serving his sentence to life imprisonment and a common jail. Massera was one of the genocidal who always knew his name, where I lived and what he had done. It was one of thousands that are not yet able to identify and prosecute. It was one of the visible faces of genocide and lived completely unpunished, because only last year was canceled for a pardon, when he was declared legally immune.



All you could say about this death would not fit in a news release. Because it kept their covenants of silence intact, was the truth about the fate of the 30,000 prisoners disappeared, because he knew and silent Where are the missing 400 children born in captivity and still do not know his identity.



Massera crimes he committed along with all other genocidal damaging to society as a whole. The trials allow us to find instances of such crimes remedial and make that history is written with pen of truth, memory and justice.



From today we have the historic duty to remember for the future who was Massera and why we condemn it. He earned a place in history: the murderer of the people. The newspapers speak of him as it was: a genocide. Nobody will pay any tribute.



Massera was one of the heads of the systematic extermination that was deployed from the State to impose an economic, social, cultural and political horror and exclusion through the annihilation of the population, with hundreds of clandestine centers the country. Today



died with all existing constitutional guarantees, no one ever intended to make justice by their own, with an ongoing trial in Italy (in absentia), whose justice he considered attributable.
